The Annual Friends & Family Memorial Day Picnic is back — and this year, we're marking 30+ years together. Join us Sunday, May 24th at Weston Regional Park for a day of great food, friendly competition, and the kind of memories that keep this tradition going.

Some traditions just stick. What started as a simple gathering of friends and family has been going strong for three decades — through moves, milestones, new faces, and familiar ones. Every Memorial Day weekend, we come back together. Same energy, same love, new memories.

In Loving Memory

This picnic exists because of people who believed in the power of showing up for one another.

For years, Franklin Ferguson was at the heart of it — helping build, host, and pour life into this gathering alongside his wife Elizabeth and the friends who made it what it is. He was proud of what this event represented. Not just the food or the games, but the fact that people kept coming back. That family — however you define it — still showed up.

We lost him recently, and his absence is felt. But the best way we know how to honor him is to do exactly what he would have wanted — gather, enjoy each other's company, and keep this tradition going.

This Year's Highlights

Chef Trevor G. is in the kitchen. We brought in a professional this year. Chef Trevor is handling the full spread — setup, serving, and breakdown included. All you have to do is show up hungry.

Three decades. That's worth celebrating. Come be part of it.

Sponsorship

Thirty years of community doesn't happen by accident — and it doesn't happen without support. If you or your business would like to be part of this year's picnic, we'd love to talk.

Sponsorship opportunities help cover event costs and keep this tradition free and accessible for everyone who shows up. In return, your name and brand are front and center with a community that's been showing up for each other for three decades.
